Vanavil Calibrations

Medical equipment calibration for hospitals, clinics and diagnostic centres

Patient monitors, ventilators, defibrillators and infusion pumps produce readings and doses that clinicians act on. Vanavil Calibrations checks that each device performs to its specification, on-site at your hospital or in our NABL-accredited laboratory, with a traceable certificate for every instrument.

Medical equipment calibration is the documented comparison of a medical device's output against traceable reference standards to confirm it performs within the manufacturer's specification. Vanavil Calibrations provides medical device calibration and biomedical equipment calibration for hospitals across Tamil Nadu, under ISO/IEC 17025:2017-compliant procedures.

Critical care, monitoring and diagnostic equipment

Hospitals rely on hundreds of devices that measure, deliver or monitor something for a patient. Over time sensors drift, components age and settings shift. Calibration shows whether each device is still within its tolerance and records the result, so your biomedical team can act before a small error affects care.

We work across critical care, patient monitoring, diagnostic and laboratory equipment. Typical examples include multiparameter monitors (ECG, SpO2, NIBP and temperature), ventilators, defibrillators, infusion and syringe pumps, ECG machines, baby warmers and electrosurgical units. For centrifuges, incubators and other lab items, see Laboratory Equipment Calibration.

Before work begins we confirm each parameter against our current NABL scope of accreditation, so you know exactly which results will carry accredited status.

Biomedical engineer calibrating hospital medical equipment

Accurate devices protect patients and audits

Patient safety

A monitor that under-reads oxygen saturation or a pump that over-delivers can change clinical decisions. Regular calibration catches drift early.

Accreditation readiness

Hospital accreditation and quality audits expect a documented calibration record for medical equipment. Our certificates go straight into that file.

Planned maintenance

Calibration results show your biomedical team which devices need service, repair or replacement, so budgets go where they matter.

Medical devices we calibrate

  • Patient monitors and multiparameter monitors
  • Ventilators and anaesthesia workstations
  • Defibrillators and AEDs
  • Infusion pumps and syringe pumps

How the work is carried out

01

Equipment inventory

We list the devices, locations and parameters to be calibrated and agree a schedule that keeps clinical areas running.

02

On-site calibration

Devices are checked against traceable reference standards and simulators, department by department.

03

Traceable certificate

Each device receives a certificate with results, measurement uncertainty and pass/fail status.

04

Follow-up

Out-of-tolerance devices are flagged so your team can arrange adjustment, service or re-calibration.

One accountable team, documented results

NABL-Accredited

Calibration and testing carried out under NABL accreditation and ISO/IEC 17025:2017-compliant procedures.

On-Site & Laboratory Capability

Work carried out at your facility or in our laboratory, by one accountable team.

Serving Since 2022

Serving hospitals, laboratories, pharmaceutical and industrial clients across Tamil Nadu since 2022.

Frequently asked questions

Most hospitals calibrate critical medical equipment at least once a year, and again after any repair, relocation or drop. The right interval depends on the manufacturer's recommendation, how heavily the device is used and your hospital's quality policy. We can help you set a schedule by device type.
Yes. Most medical devices are calibrated on-site, one department at a time, so clinical areas keep running. We agree the sequence with your biomedical team before the visit.
Each certificate identifies the device and lists the parameters tested, the reference standards used, the measured results, the measurement uncertainty and whether the device is within tolerance.
Accredited status applies to the parameters covered by our NABL scope of accreditation. We confirm which of your devices and parameters fall within that scope before work starts.
