Vanavil Calibrations

Pressure gauge calibration and pressure instrument calibration

From utility lines to cleanroom pressure cascades, pressure readings drive safety and quality decisions. We calibrate gauges, transmitters and switches against traceable pressure standards and document every test point.

Pressure calibration compares a pressure instrument, such as a gauge, transmitter or switch, against a traceable reference at several points across its range to confirm accuracy. Vanavil Calibrations provides pressure gauge calibration for manufacturing plants, pharmaceutical facilities, hospitals and laboratories across Tamil Nadu.

Gauges, transmitters and switches you can trust

Pressure instruments sit on compressors, boilers, autoclaves, process lines, gas manifolds and cleanroom walls. A gauge that sticks, a transmitter that drifts or a switch that trips late can affect product quality, equipment protection and personal safety.

We calibrate analogue and digital pressure gauges, vacuum gauges, differential pressure gauges used in cleanrooms, pressure transmitters, pressure switches, indicators and controllers. Each instrument is checked at several points, rising and falling, so hysteresis and repeatability are visible as well as accuracy.

Where an instrument feeds a control loop, we record as-found and as-left results so your maintenance team can see exactly what changed.

Differential pressure gauges checked during pressure calibration

Pressure errors cost more than calibration

Process quality

Pressure drives flow, temperature and reaction conditions. Accurate gauges keep batches consistent.

Equipment protection

Switches and safety settings only protect equipment if they act at the right pressure.

Cleanroom compliance

Differential pressure gauges prove your cleanroom pressure cascade. Read our differential pressure testing guide.

How the work is carried out

01

Instrument review

We note range, accuracy class and application for each instrument.

02

Multi-point check

Readings are compared with a traceable standard at several points up and down the range.

03

As-found and as-left

Results before and after any adjustment are recorded where applicable.

04

Certificate

A certificate with results, uncertainty and status is issued per instrument.

One accountable team, documented results

NABL-Accredited

Calibration and testing carried out under NABL accreditation and ISO/IEC 17025:2017-compliant procedures.

On-Site & Laboratory Capability

Work carried out at your facility or in our laboratory, by one accountable team.

Serving Since 2022

Serving hospitals, laboratories, pharmaceutical and industrial clients across Tamil Nadu since 2022.

Frequently asked questions

Annual calibration is typical, with shorter intervals for gauges on critical or safety-related duty, or where the gauge sees vibration, pulsation or overpressure.
A gauge is checked by reading its dial or display against the reference. A transmitter is checked by comparing its electrical output, usually 4-20 mA, with the applied reference pressure.
Many can. Portable pressure standards allow on-site calibration, which avoids removing instruments for long. High-accuracy or specialised ranges may be better done in the laboratory.
Yes. Differential pressure gauges that monitor room-to-room pressure in cleanrooms and operation theatres are a routine part of our work.
